The school has a preparatory class for newly arrived pupils, an adapted primary school and an international school ISB (International School of Boden). Stureskolan is organized into four teams, each of which has a special needs teacher and team leader attached to it. The school has a well-developed local student health team consisting of the principal, deputy principals, special educators, school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist and study and career counselors. The school also has a security team consisting of two security coordinators and several security resources who work actively to create relationships and security during breaks in the school's corridors and in our student community. We are constantly working to increase goal attainment and to improve teaching quality. Our focus areas are increased student attendance and developed language skills. WORK TASKS We are looking for you to work with our Safety Coordinator and the Safety Team to ensure that our students enjoy their time at school and feel safe. Your most important task is to be a good role model and that you are available for and create good conversations and relationships with our young people, but you should also be able to hold various break activities for our young people. You should be able to carry out preventive work, which means that you should be available and visible mainly in the corridors, but also in the student lounge, canteen and other school buildings. You will understand and manage groups, conflicts and other situations that may arise at school. Your duties will include, if necessary, conducting individual teaching at another location, known as an emergency school. We offer you a stimulating environment. We have a well-functioning student health work and work actively with school development in various areas. The scope of the position is 70-90%, limited in time during the period 260101-260630. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have an interest in and experience of meeting young people in groups and are used to working in groups. You should also be comfortable supporting students in their learning in small groups/individually. You are confident in yourself and in your own leadership and are a good role model for others. You have an interest in physical activity. Previous leadership experience is an advantage. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
