Your role:

We are now looking for a temporary operations operator for the Dam Safety and Water Management department. In our department we handle dam safety issues, the operation of the Ryllshyttemagasinet and water management and water treatment.

As an Operations Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our water treatment plants and dams. You will be part of a shift team of two people, but the tasks are mostly performed independently. The day starts together where you distribute the day's activities, set the plan and identify any tasks that require collaboration. The work takes place outdoors and is in shifts according to 7-7 daytime.

We are looking for you who enjoy working independently and have an interest in technology and processes in water treatment and dams. To succeed in the role, we see that you are responsible, careful and have good communication and collaboration skills.

The position is a temporary position for one year with the possibility of extension. Access takes place as soon as possible by agreement.

Your team:

You will be part of a team of four operators where you are divided two and two per shift period. You will report to the dust operations supervisor.

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for daily operation and maintenance and participate in the optimization of the water treatment plants and disposal systems
  • Perform rounds/checks in the plants with measurements and sampling.
  • Identifies and resolves plant breakdowns.
  • Monitors and analyzes processes and instruments and ensures that the water treatment plants and ponds meet all environmental and quality requirements.
  • Works to maintain and comply with safety and environmental regulations to ensure a sustainable and safe working environment.
  • Documents workflows, results and incidents and follows up on relevant KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.

Your contribution:

  • High school education in relevant field
  • Document management such as Excel, Word and Boliden's internal systems
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Good problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Swedish and English in writing and speech
  • B-driving license

Advantageous is:

  • Experience of working with water treatment and/or dams
