Gällivare Lapland Airport is now looking for an economist/controller who wants to contribute to the development of one of the region's most important infrastructures. The airport, which is run as a company from 2025-01-01, is 100% owned by Gällivare municipality. The airport is part of the national transport infrastructure with passenger traffic, medical transport and with a mission as a state emergency airport.

About the service

As an economist / business controller with us, you will have a broad and varied assignment with responsibility for financial follow-up, budget, forecasts, compliance, audits and analyzes. You work closely with the airport management and are an important support in the strategic work for sustainable and efficient operations. The airport uses the Fortnox financial system and collaborates with an accounting firm for its financial and payroll administration.

Your main tasks:

• Preparation of budget, financial statements and ongoing financial follow-up
• Profit and cost analysis
• Support to the organization in financial matters
• Reporting to the board and owner
• Participation in development projects and process improvements
• Support in procurements and contracts
• Analysis of income and costs related to air traffic, ground handling and commercial activities

We are looking for you who have:

• High school education in finance, accounting or equivalent
• Some years of experience in financial work, preferably from both public operations and business
• Good analytical ability and used to working independently
• Experience in financial systems and very good knowledge of Excel
• You should be fluent in Swedish

Working hours / Duration

The position is a permanent full-time position with location at Gällivare Airport. Probationary period may occur.
