Business description

Myranskolan has about 150 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as an after-school department. The school is located in Koskullskulle. At Myranskolan, there is a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor who mainly works towards the social parts of the curriculum in each class in grades 1-6. The after-school program is a complement to the school where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests. At the school there are also special teachers, school counselor and school nurse who work together in teams for the benefit of the students.

Work tasks

As a student assistant, you work closely with students. You collaborate with the teachers in the school and after-school program and others in the team to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. This means that you are involved in planning and adapting the student's school day, working in collaboration with teachers, guardians, student health and leisure staff to meet the student's needs, stimulate the student's development, learning and independence.

Qualifications

Lower secondary school diploma, education in children and / or leisure, activity leader in leisure homes or other education that the employer considers equivalent / relevant. Experience of creating security, school values, values and norms. Experience from school, leisure center or / and other activities where you have been a leader of groups of children is an advantage. You should have good social skills, self-motivated, initiative, responsibility and have a good attitude towards colleagues, students and guardians. We see that you have good communication skills, skills in the Swedish language in speech and writing.

Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Extracts from the police's criminal record are a requirement.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Full-time, permanent employment. Probationary period may apply.
