
The catering service produces and delivers food to care centers and users living at home in Gjøvik municipality. The service consists of a common production kitchen, 6 reception kitchens and cafés at the care center, the town hall café and common laundry. The service aims to work actively for good nutritional care for our users.
The position is currently affiliated with Åslundmarka reception kitchen 50% and Snertingdal production kitchen 20%.
Åslundmarka is the reception kitchen, where lunch and dinner are served to the center's residents and visitors in the café.
Snertingdal kitchen produces dinner and meals for the center's residents and café guests.
Turnus/daytime: 37.5 hours/week with work every 4th weekend and public holidays.
Duties:Production and processing of dinner meals, including special diets.
Production and processing of hot and cold dishes for the café.
Packaging and delivery of groceries to the care units.
Baking of bread products/ cakes.
Reheating and serving dinner.
Cashiering and settlement handling.
Ordering and receiving goods.
Occasional work such as cleaning, tidying and washing up.
Use the kitchen's computer system for production and distribution.
Supervise colleagues and other partners.
Responsibility for contributing to development, quality improvement and updating within the profession and work.
Professional certificate as a chef, preferably nutrition/institutional chef. Good relevant experience may qualify for the position.
Experience from and interest in kitchen and café operations.
Basic ICT knowledge.
Service minded, independent, structured and accurate.
