About us:

H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Manager Marketing & Market Intelligence

You will build the market intelligence function by developing models, gathering data and using outsourced input and data.Your scope will be flat steel products in Europe.

To succeed in this role it'svery important that youare pro-active, takes initiative, not acting likea ‘closed-door analyst’ and that you have greatpeople skills. If you have that, the rest will come easy.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a market analyses structure for business intelligence and set pricing targets for sales
  • Manage marketing activities
  • Provide market input and represent commercial in strategic projects e.g. investments, partnerships, M&A
  • Conduct market research
  • Support Commercial Strategy process and decision making
  • Competitive analyses
  • Participate in conferences, covering (green) steel, sustainability or customer market segments
  • Closely cooperate with sales, technical, strategy, finance and growth teams
  • Manage tool-development with digital team
  • Budget responsibility for research and manage data providers

Qualifications:

  • MSc in relevant field
  • 5+ years experience inconsultancy firm or similar internal role in industrial industry
  • Analytical skills, ability to digest information fast
  • Marketing experience in an industrial setting
  • Experience as analyst and in business development withinstrategy M&A or investments
  • Sets up models/systems to repetitively source data and present findings
  • Negotiating experience in M&A type deals
  • Preferably someone whounderstands steel industry dynamics
