We are now looking for a committed and energetic MEK Chief who will be responsible for a team of 35 people. The MEK manager will also be part of an operational management group and will report to the regional manager. Job duties In the position as MEK Chief, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of group managers with staff. The department currently consists of 3 group managers, and there are approximately 35 employees in total. You will have performance responsibility for the unit and ensure delivery according to the established financial plan, therefore it is important that you lead the group in fulfilling and meeting the requirements the company and customers are asking for. An important part of your role consists of motivating and maintaining staff competence through open and engaging leadership. Through this, we see that you get the group to work in a well-organized and efficient way with established routines. In the role of Head of Department, you will be out in the business and with our customers on a daily basis to capture current questions from both customers and your staff. You will also be responsible for calculations/quotes for projects and ongoing sales. In the sales work, you will run activities for additional and new sales with existing and new customers, while we see that you develop and maintain good and business-like communication and delivery towards the customers. You will also collaborate with the project organization within the region to lead and be responsible for projects. As a manager, you believe it is important to actively work for a safe and secure physical and psychosocial work environment, and you enjoy getting involved in driving work environment issues together with your employees. Your profile To be successful in this position, you have at least five years' experience from a similar position in industry, contracting or the consulting industry. You have competence in leadership, technology, MEK, improvement work and project management. If you have a relevant university education or equivalent education, we see it as meritorious. As a person, you are business-oriented and are a natural leader who likes to develop the team. Furthermore, we believe that you are an "entrepreneur" and are passionate about developing and implementing improvements and efficiencies in order to reach set goals. You are driven by varied work and a fast pace. As the position involves a lot of customer contact, we see that you are communicative, take initiative and have a high level of service and see cooperation as a matter of course in your everyday life, both internally and externally. You manage spoken and written Swedish and English and have a B driving licence.
