Operations in Luleå include 3 facilities. Malmhamnen, which consists of unloading trains and loading ships with LKAB's products. The bentonite plant consists of storing, drying, grinding, loading and testing bentonite. And in Uddebo energy depot, inputs are stored in our tanks which, after being stored in the tanks, are loaded onto rail cars.

Your role

We are now looking for a new maintenance technician in automation for our logistics operations in Luleå. In this independent role, you take care of everything from maintenance to improvement work / development of our machines both in the short and long term. You manage contact with both internal resources and external suppliers. You work both systematically and visionarily in a position where your unique skills contribute to our business.

Your everyday life as a maintenance technician:

• Plan/prepare work for automation technicians
• Responsible for 5-year plans and automation budget in our 3 plants
• Act as a contact person for suppliers
• Work with electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, configuration and programming

What you bring with you

• High school electrical education or equivalent
• B driving license
• Knowledge and experience of process control systems, control engineering and automation
• Previous experience from the profession is an advantage
• You enjoy working both independently and in a team
