Your role

The Kiruna Community Transformation Department is looking for a Project Manager who is responsible for planning decommissioning projects within community transformation. The Project Manager has, in collaboration with Kiruna municipality and other stakeholders and authorities, an active role in the early stages of the community transformation process.

Furthermore, the Project Manager acts as an internal client and client representative in the implementation of construction projects. Our project managers work independently in a leading role and have a great deal of freedom to plan and procure resources for the implementation of the projects, but at the same time have a great responsibility to deliver results within the allocated framework.

What you bring to the table

In the role of project manager on the social transformation, you have many internal and external contacts, which requires you to be a self-driven person who has a natural ability for communication. We are looking for you who are structured and good at planning.

We expect you to have:

• University / college education, preferably in urban planning or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
• Experience from project management or other leading position and knowledge of implementation processes for master plans, detailed plans and building permits is an advantage
• B-driving license is a requirement for the position
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
