Your role

The Svappavaara Automation Technician is responsible for all electrical, instrumentation and control systems in the Svappavaara minefield. As a temp, you will work in a team with 4 other automation technicians where you are jointly responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities throughout the Svappavaara minefield. This means that you will work in all our facilities, such as processing plants, open pit mines, outer areas, offices and dams.

Svappavaara Teknik och Service (El & Automation) consists of 37 employees, of which 25 are automation technicians. We have a strong community and short contact paths, which means opportunities for influence and participation in shaping and developing working methods and your working day. You will have strong support from solution-oriented colleagues and close cooperation with other professional groups.

The main tasks are:

• Periodic maintenance of electrical equipment and inspections, checks, service and calibrations of measuring equipment and instruments.
• Emergency troubleshooting and repair.
• installation of electrical equipment, instruments, control equipment and automation systems
• Optimization of control circuits and matching of measuring equipment
• Minor programming work in process computer systems.

What you bring to the table

We are looking for you who are used to working in a goal-oriented way where you can take great responsibility. It requires you to work in an organized manner and with a strong safety mindset.

• Education in electricity is a requirement
• Driving license B is a requirement
• You must have a good command of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Knowledge of process control systems, instrumentation, low-voltage systems, switchgear and drive systems and installation is an advantage.
• Authorization is also meritorious.
