Architecture is one of our 19 research subjects. The research group consists of about 20 people with different competencies in urban and transport planning, architecture, urban design, cultural conservation and landscape architecture. Our research and education contribute decisively to shaping future policy and planning of future cities. More information about our activities; www.ltu.se/architecture Job description The tasks are varied and provide insight into the academic world. You will be in regular contact with the teachers responsible for the courses. Examples of tasks: - Teaching support in undergraduate courses (supervision of labs and exercises) - Grading of reports, assignments and labs - Course administration incl. reporting of correction documents - Work in the Canvas learning platform - Leading application exercises and discussions on study techniques - Coaching students for group work - Develop and produce course material when needed Skills and experience You should be enrolled in the Master of Science in Architecture program and have completed at least 6 semesters. You should be able to demonstrate good study results in technical architecture, conceptual design, architectural typologies, architectural building program and architectural building design. It is an advantage if you have studied the course you will teach. Applicants must be able to express themselves both orally and in writing in Swedish and English. Pedagogical ability and genuine interest in teaching are important and experience of similar work is an advantage. We make an overall assessment with great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms and conditions Employment as a lecturer is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5. Only those who have been admitted to first- or second-cycle education may be employed as a lecturer (HF Chapter 5 §10). Hourly wage/compensation For all assignments, you will receive an hourly wage and valuable work experience for your CV. Hourly pay depends on the difficulty of the task: Level 1: SEK 156/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 25 700/month for full-time work). Level 2: SEK 171/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 28 200/month for full-time work). Information The position is 20% of full-time, i.e. on average 1 day per week for 5 months, from January 12, 2026 to June 12, 2026 or as agreed. The place of employment is Luleå. The workload may vary over time and by agreement, but the aim is to distribute it in a way that makes it compatible with studies at the university.
