Then maybe you are our new head of Communication and brand at Luleå University of Technology. The university has recently launched a new and modernized website and is working with digitized communication via CRM systems towards different target groups and stakeholders. As a manager, you continue that change work. In the higher education sector, work is also underway on how AI can be used in communication work, which creates exciting opportunities. The Communication and brand unit works to build the university's brand in order to attract students, competence, partners and financiers. The unit is responsible for contacts with the press and media and manages the university's research, education and internal communications. As a manager, you have personal responsibility for approx. 20 employees consisting of communicators, project managers, press contact, AD, strategist and translator. The role of Head of Communications and Branding requires close collaboration with university management and other functions across the university to achieve a coherent and effective communication structure. Finally, responsibility is also included for procuring and requesting communication services of various kinds from media, communication and web agencies. Qualifications We are looking for you who is a committed, clear and structured leader with a passion for visionary work. Your ability to see the big picture combined with long-term experience in management and leadership makes you a suitable candidate. In addition, you have an academic degree, preferably in marketing or communication. You are passionate about generating ideas and through your leadership you make sure they come to fruition. You draw energy from meetings and in the interaction with other people. In your leadership role, you are driven by achieving concrete results and by creating good relationships with employees and other stakeholders. We would like you to have an extensive network within the media industry. Your cooperation and communication skills are high, and you express yourself well both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English. Your leadership is characterized by humility, sensitivity and inclusion, which motivates and creates good conditions for your employees. Furthermore, you have a business-like attitude and willingness to collaborate, influence and contribute to the development of the business. In your work, you are well organized and energetic. You are used to leading several projects at the same time through a methodical way of working, good planning and clear communication.
