WORK DUTIES In the role of controller, your most important tasks are to support managers in a simple and educational way during planning, implementation, follow-up/forecasting and analysis of financial issues. This means that you are a sounding board for managers at different levels and work to ensure that the department's financial reporting is simple, transparent and accurate. As a controller, you are expected to be a strategic partner and you will have an important role in producing analysis data to support fact-based decisions and create the conditions for a sustainable business. You will be an important player in the improvement work and actively contribute to the development of the joint financial and operational management as well as the municipality's financial processes. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have an economics degree or the equivalent at university level and have previously worked as an economist or controller. We see it as meritorious if you have worked with data analysis or similar tasks in a larger organization. You are a development-oriented person who keeps you up-to-date in your professional field and spreads knowledge and information further within the organization. You have a pedagogical ability and can present both oral and written information to work groups of varying sizes. Structuring and prioritizing work effectively is a matter of course for you and you should not be afraid to take on new challenges. The position involves analytical work of both financial and business statistics, so it is an advantage if you are used to handling and analyzing large amounts of data with the support of various decision support systems. Good knowledge of using the Office package and specifically Excel is a requirement.
