WORK TASKS As an environmental worker, your main responsibility is to collect and transport food and residual waste from residents and businesses within Skellefteå urban area and the surrounding area. The tasks include informing and teaching our residents to sort correctly. Other tasks may also occur, such as bin delivery and tagging of bins. You work together in a team with other environmental workers and start every day from Östra Navet at Hedensbyn, Skellefteå. Normal working hours are 06.00-15.00 Monday-Thursday and 06.00-13.15 Friday, with the possibility of flex. The work takes place 38.25 hours per week as light weekend days are worked. QUALIFICATIONS. We are looking for you who have a driving license with a B and C permit and YKB. It is important that you are physically fit enough to be active and move around freely throughout the working day. You also need to have sufficient knowledge of Swedish to be able to communicate with both customers and colleagues. We handle digital driving lists in the garbage trucks and therefore we want you to have a basic computer habit. As part of the waste business, you represent Skellefteå municipality and therefore we are looking for an employee with a sense of service and the ability to build good relationships. We expect you to be thorough and finish what you start, as well as being open to working with different people and having a positive attitude. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
