DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Our health care unit works to provide patients from 18 years and up with quality care at primary care level in the patient's home. As a nurse with us, you will have an independent, varied job where planning and prioritization are an important part. You will work with assessment, planning, execution and follow-up of health care interventions in the patient's home. Alongside a dedicated healthcare team, you will also mentor and support other professionals to help them grow in their professional roles. The work is mobile and changing, with many different contacts with patients and relatives, colleagues and others within and outside the organization where the region is an important partner.
You play a crucial role in shaping person-centered care based on the unique needs and wishes of each patient. With us, you will be part of a professional and committed team. We are continuously working to improve the quality of care and meet the changing needs of both patients and society.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are primarily looking for you who are a registered nurse, or soon to be registered. If you have previous experience of working as a nurse, this is an advantage. A good subject competence and willingness to keep up to date in your professional field is a prerequisite for success in the role. It is an advantage if you have completed specialist training in relevant areas.
As a person, you are independent, proactive and responsible. The work requires a meticulous and systematic approach, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. You are pedagogical in your communication, are considerate in your treatment and enjoy working closely in a team. A B driving license is a requirement.
To succeed in the role, you need to have good communication skills in Swedish in speech and writing. Skellefteå municipality is a Finnish and Sami administrative municipality, so it is an advantage if you know Finnish or Sami. If you also know sign language, we see it as an asset in our activities.
