You plan, implement and evaluate the educational work with the children in focus. You will work closely with colleagues, guardians and other collaborative partners. You offer culture and language in preschool education based on the preschool curriculum. To promote children's development, you will lead and participate in various activities, games and adventures both indoors and outdoors. You will be involved in the activities and teaching in such a way that the objectives and intentions of the curriculum are met. This may involve developing and stimulating children's social skills, language, mathematical thinking and environmental awareness by planning, implementing and following up activities based on the pedagogical planning. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who value joyful learning and contribute to play having a central place in education. You welcome innovation and creativity and value diversity. You carry out your work in a trustworthy manner and have the ability to put yourself in the shoes of others. You have a good knowledge of Swedish society, but also good expertise in the living conditions, culture and language of the Sami minority within the young generation. We consider it a merit that you are rooted in the Sami community and/or have a broad network in the Sami minority. You preferably have a preschool teacher's license and we see that you who have not yet received your license also apply for the job. In that case, show a receipt from the Swedish National Agency for Education. As a childcare worker, you have upper secondary education from the childcare and leisure program with a social or educational focus, or a degree from vocational training childcare worker 1300 points via adult education. It is important that you are physically fit enough to cope with the tasks involved in the work. You have good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing. Skellefteå municipality is a Finnish and Sami administrative municipality, so it is also an advantage if you know Sami. If you also know sign language, we see it as an asset in our activities. Our activities are located throughout the municipality, with around 35 primary schools, 87 preschools, 40 after-school clubs and three upper secondary schools.
