Stange Health and Care Center is one of Stange municipality's largest businesses with a total of 104 institutional places and 10 full-time staffed care homes. The health and care center has five departments divided into somatic long-term places and sheltered places for people with dementia. We focus on environmental treatment and person-centered care. We are proud to be an exciting professional environment in growth.

Stange municipality has last year created a separate nurse fleet at night, Ambulatory Team (AT), which is responsible for nursing tasks at two institutions, home nursing and adapted services in the municipality. As a night watchman, you will be able to order services from the AT.

We are looking for you who enjoy and want to work at night. We currently have two vacant night shift positions as a health care worker: one at 60% and one at 50%.


Tasks

  • Working with patients in need of 24-hour care.
  • Observations and professional assessments of patients.
  • Providing and documenting health care in line with current requirements and legislation.
  • Focusing on activities that enhance quality of life and bring joy to the individual patient.
  • Contributing to collaboration between departments.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Approved authorization as a health professional, auxiliary nurse or care worker.
  • Desirable with relevant further education.
  • Desirable with experience in elderly care both with somatic patients and with dementia.
  • Good oral and written presentation skills.
  • Good ICT knowledge, preferably knowledge of Gerica/Aidn.
