Job duties

As a test leader at one of our units within the Facility Information department, you will work as a team in development and management tasks. Here you get the opportunity to work in a structured manner with quality-enhancing efforts within the requirements and testing area. You are involved in influencing today's and future development of system support for users internally within the Swedish Transport Administration and in society at large. The work is characterized by collaboration and agile working methods.

Other duties included in the role of Test Leader may be to:

  • plan all test activities within the various assignments, everything from functional tests to technical tests and acceptance tests
  • perform analysis and specification of requirements and test cases, test execution, evaluation and follow-up of tests
  • be an acceptance test leader, where as a test leader you support the business and lead the work with acceptance tests when receiving IT solutions from external suppliers
  • have an open dialogue with system users and external stakeholders

With us, you also get the opportunity to be involved and influence how we further develop our working methods for testing and requirements management. We work in a Microsoft environment with Azure DevOps/TFS (Team Foundation Server) and for the test work we use the test parts within Visual Studio.

Location is Borlänge or Gävle. Do you wish to work partially remotely? In this position, there may be an opportunity to work from home up to 40 percent of your working time.

Qualifications

Who are you?

As a person for this role, we value that you are a structured and quality-conscious problem solver who likes challenges and new thinking. You are active and responsive in collaborations and have good leadership skills.

We are looking for you as

  • has current work experience of test management
  • has experience in performing system tests
  • has experience in making time estimates for test work
  • have a university education in systems science of at least 180 credits /120 p) where courses in tests were included alternatively education or courses together with relevant work experience that we deem equivalent
  • has good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish

It is meritorious if you

  • have experience in acceptance testing
  • has experience with test automation
  • have experience in working agile
