The Nature School is a support function within pre-school and primary schools with the mission to support and stimulate development in learning for sustainable development. We offer seminars, lectures and courses, often through outdoor didactics. We are now looking for you who want to work with us! Your tasks Your mission will be to train educators and teachers, usually together with students, in the work of outdoor education and learning for sustainable development. The work also includes lecturing and being responsible for seminars for educators, teachers and principals in preschool and primary school, both physically and digitally. In accordance with the mission, policy documents and research, you will contribute to inspiring learning in authentic environments, such as nature and society, in an educational way. The learning is interdisciplinary and should be linked to all sustainability perspectives. The work may involve travel, mainly in northern Sweden. About you We are looking for you who are a qualified primary school teacher / educator and have a few years of experience in educational work. If you also have training in sustainable development, it is an advantage. You have experience of working with outdoor education and knowledge of IT. The position requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. A large part of the work will be carried out outdoors in all seasons, regardless of the weather, so you need to be used to being outdoors and have good knowledge of outdoor life. You are driven and curious about the field and have an interest in developing and evolving. The work group is small, so you must be prepared for a lot of solo work, be comfortable taking responsibility and providing the "best possible encounter" in all situations. As the activities depend on external funding, you need to be open to collaboration, learning and flexibility. Heavy lifting occurs in the workplace. A B driving license is a requirement.
