The leisure administration in Umeå municipality wants to contribute to a good living environment by creating good opportunities for active leisure with sports, exercise, recreation and public health. Its area of responsibility includes the operation of sports and leisure facilities, leisure, excursion and recreation areas, facilities for leisure boats and initiatives in leisure fishing and outdoor recreation. Through the municipality's joint Associations Office, the Leisure Administration is responsible for the overall preparation, follow-up and evaluation of the municipality's support for associations and for strengthening contacts between the municipality's various representatives and organized associations. The Operations Department manages our staffed sports centers Nolia Sports Center, Gammlia Sports Center and Teg Sports Center. Staffing is also available in Holmsund and Hörnefors. The remaining facilities are managed by a mobile force based in Västerslätt, which manages ice rinks, school sports grounds, local sports grounds, artificial grass pitches, natural grass pitches, sports fields, equipment hire, outdoor swimming pools, boating, outdoor life and Bräntberget. Working hours are day/evening and weekend. About you We are looking for you who have an upper secondary education and have experience of the service profession. We would like to see that you have experience of driving an ice machine and tractor and have a license for off-road wheels. This position involves heavy lifting. Good physical health is an important prerequisite for coping with some heavy work.
