We are growing and are now looking for service technicians / engineers who want to join our journey. Our service business is growing rapidly and our customers are mainly in the energy, process and manufacturing industries. The location is Gällivare, but travel within Sweden and internationally may occur for those who want to broaden their experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintenance, commissioning , modernization and optimization of ABB's frequency converters and power converters in our customers' plants
  • Conduct measurements and analyze data to propose the right maintenance measures
  • Work with AC and DCdrive systems and participate in our project deliveries
  • Responsibility for the execution of our service contracts
  • Collaborate closely with our product companies and take part in the latest technology
  • Development through ABB Motion's competence ladder and personal certification program
  • Opportunity to work internationally within ABB:s global organization
  • Be close to the customer and work directly on site to understand their needs and create long-term relationships

Your background

  • Secondary education or college engineer in Electrical Engineering/Power Electronics/Automation
  • Experience in installation and good competence in control technology
  • Knowledge in electric power is meritorious
  • Plus if you worked in the process, mining or paper industry, energy companies or similar
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, analysis and reporting tools) - not a requirement but an advantage
  • Business thinking and drive to develop and solve customer needs
  • Social and relationship building - you thrive in meeting people
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • B driving license
