Your role and responsibilities

ABB Robotics is a global leader in automation and robotics, and sustainability is high on our agenda. We are now looking for an Environmental Specialist who wants to take overall responsibility for our national environmental work and contribute to developing and ensuring our way of working within the environment, energy, chemicals and waste.

As an Environmental Specialist at ABB Robotics, you are a key person in the company's environmental and energy work in Sweden. You are responsible for ensuring legal compliance, reporting and internal processes, as well as supporting the business with knowledge, structure and improvement initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with both production operations, service organization and other support functions. You will be an important internal expert and advisor, with the opportunity to influence both the way of working and the direction of our continued sustainability work.

Your main tasks:

  • Responsible for environmental and energy reporting in accordance with Swedish legislation and Robotics' global requirements (eg.
  • Be system owner for Notisum (legal compliance) and Chemsoft (chemical management), including development and management.
  • Lead and coordinate the introduction of new chemicals as well as ongoing chemical administration.
  • Manage administration and some practical issues regarding waste management.
  • Hold regular information meetings with representatives from production and service activities and design and implement other information activities in the organization.
  • Lead legal compliance checks in the environmental area.
  • Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits regarding ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 and write internal instructions in the field of environment, energy and chemicals.
  • Lead Robotics Energy management team and coordinate energy reduction measures and plan and coordinate energy audits.

Your background

  • Good knowledge and practical experience of environmental reporting and application of Swedish and EU-based environmental legislation.
  • Experience of ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and preferably also ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
  • Experience of systems such as Notisum, Chemsoft or similar.
  • Preferably experience of waste management and recycling.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with different functions and levels of the organization.
  • Like to work administratively, but also to participate in practical issues on site in factories and similar environments.
  • Be driven, responsible and thorough.
