ABB Measurement & Analytics is now looking for a service technician who wants to work with the latest technology in instrumentation and analysis. The role is characterized by freedom under responsibility where you will be able to influence your role and work tasks. The role means that you have the customer in focus and thrive on problem solving and advice, mainly on site with customers. Your field of work is the whole of Sweden, which means that travel in the service occurs.


Your responsibilities

  • In this role, you will work with service and support of instruments and analysis products used in the process industry.
  • Your everyday life includes everything from support services to maintenance service with calibration, troubleshooting and repairs, commissioning of new analysis systems and to hold training and act as technical support to other parts of the organization.
  • You act proactively and create additional sales by taking advantage of the opportunities that arise.
  • The position involves a lot of travel as the work is mainly carried out at our customers around Sweden. You will receive plenty of support internally, which will allow you to develop within the profession or broaden yourself in the future.


Your background

  • You have a technical/electronics background and preferably also some chemistry skills and have a couple of years of experience from similar tasks with technical problem solving.
  • Experience from working with gas analysis or flue gas measurement or technicians in the process industry is meritorious.
  • Experience working in CRM systems and IT knowledge is meritorious.
  • We are looking for a positive and driven service technician who feels a great commitment to their work.
  • As a person, you are service-oriented and quick in both thought and action.
  • You are structured and careful and have a businesslike mindset.
  • You speak and write English and Swedish fluently.

You will be part of ABB Measurement and Analytics, a division within the Process Automation business area. Our focus is to make it easy to install, use and maintain instruments and analyzers. The Analysis & Instruments department currently has about 30 employees in five locations in Sweden.
