Service Project Management Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you perform service work in accordance with ABB quality standards and safety guidelines. Working closely with both customers and other ABB teams, you will act as the technical hub delivering quality and meeting customer service needs. You will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and technical support on site or remotely.

  • Your duties will include troubleshooting, repairs, customer support and preventive maintenance on our robotic systems.
  • You will troubleshoot equipment and make recommendations to prevent future failures.
  • You will build and maintain strong customer relationships, assess customer needs and provide specialist support and solutions. You identify opportunities for the development of new services, equipment and methods.
  • You share ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means that you take responsibility for your own actions while being accountable to your colleagues and the business.
  • In your multifaceted job, you will take on both urgent and planned assignments in the field of robot service. You will be involved in everything from corrective and preventive maintenance to production monitoring, programming and commissioning.
  • The position includes standby duty.

Your background

  • We consider it an advantage if you have a post-secondary education with a technical focus, or equivalent professional experience.
  • You have experience in reading electrical drawings, mechanical drawings and manuals. You have experience/knowledge of different vision systems.
  • To fit the role, it is a very great advantage if you have worked with ABB robots and automation.
  • You have knowledge of programming such as rapid or RobotStudio.
  • You have a B driving license and enjoy traveling on duty.
  • You have a high safety mindset, are adaptable, collaborative and solution-oriented.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
