In this role, you will be part of the project business within Energy Industries in Sweden which continues to grow. The division is part of the Process Automation business area, which delivers complete solutions in digitization, electrification and automation to customers mainly in renewable energy, heat, water and nuclear power, as well as the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries in Sweden.
We are currently located in Malmö, Kista, Västerås, Mölndal and Umeå and we work closely integrated between the locations in our project deliveries. We are now looking for you who want to take on the role of group manager for the automation engineers in Malmö.
The group currently consists of about 20 engineers with high technical competence in automation, Industrial IT and process technology and who work in all phases of the projects from idea / pre-study to commissioning and follow-up and aftermarket support to our end customers. The projects are run in-house from our offices and are of high technical complexity.

Location for this position is at our office in Malmö. The role reports to the Head of Engineering, Sweden.

As group manager, you have personnel responsibility for the group and you drive the systematic work environment work.

Through your leadership, you promote the group's development opportunities, both at individual level and as a team.
*
You work operationally as well as strategically with the group in close cooperation with other functions in Sweden.
*
You will be an innovative and driving force in the automation field. You see the needs of customers and combine your automation technology expertise with the economic and commercial aspects.
*
You will work closely with the project managers and the sales and tendering team and together you will develop our technical and commercial offers.
*
You will support and coach the project teams as needed in the execution of the projects/assignments.
*
You will be an important representative of ABB with customers, suppliers and partners.
*

Your background
*
University or civil engineering degree, or equivalent professional experience.
*
Experience in leading roles in automation or industrial IT, such as line manager, technical project manager or senior engineer.
*
Committed and goal-oriented, with personal leadership skills that contribute to both employee satisfaction and high customer satisfaction.
*
Broad technical competence in automation (DCS/PLC/SCADA) and industrial IT, as well as basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation in the energy and process industries.
*
Experience in project activities in automation; background in industry, consulting or contracting is an advantage.
*
Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
*
B driving license.
