This is our story. Make it your story.
Your role and responsibilities
In the role of Logistic Developer, you will work with the development of industrial logistics flows in our own production and have a central role in our Campus project where you will have the opportunity to develop new logistics flows in a brand new factory. Robotics production consists solely of an assembly process as we have no machining but all components are purchased for our assembly, so the development of internal logistics is a very important part of our production process.
Together with your colleagues in the group, you will develop our industrial flows and processes in logistics for both current and future factory and warehouse. Leading sub-projects within the new campus project as technical project manager and ensuring compliance with project deliverables will be a main task in the relocation of our external warehouse from Arlanda to our own warehouse adjacent to our new factory. The internal logistics in the factory before the move will be included as a project. You will be responsible as a process owner for certain areas of current production and work with tasks related to material supply to assembly sections, technical staffing for specific logistics flows and procurement of technical equipment for logistics.
In the long run, you will be one of those who help create the optimal flow at our new ABB Robotics Campus. There we gather all our robot expertise within ABB Europe and your contribution will be the logistics development. Join us at ABB Robotics in Västerås.
