Machine Operator for ABB - Västerås

General Information

ABB in Västerås is an important part of our global industrial production and technology business. Here we work with modern production solutions where quality, safety and efficiency are at the center.

Now we are looking for a machine operator who wants to contribute to a stable and high-quality production. You will be part of a dedicated team where cooperation and responsibility are crucial to our success.

Your role and responsibilities

In the role, you work in production where you have shared responsibility for running and monitoring a process for impregnation and maintaining the production equipment. You will ensure that production runs according to plan and that the end product is of the right quality.

You will follow established working methods and safety procedures, while being alert to opportunities for improvement and contributing to an efficient and safe working environment.

Your main responsibilities are to:

• set up, adjust and run the process according to the set production plan
• perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance
• troubleshoot and report deviations in production
• ensure quality and follow up on produced units
• document work and maintenance according to our routines

Qualifications for the role

We are looking for you who have experience from industry, production or similar technical environment. You have an interest in technology and thrive in a hands-on role where you can take responsibility and work closely with the business.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• are careful, responsible and have a strong safety mindset
• are solution-oriented and enjoy working both independently and in a team
• have a good technical understanding and preferably experience of machine handling
• have a forklift license and traver card
• express yourself well in Swedish and English, in both speech and writing
