This position reports to: Project Operations Manager.

We are looking for a dedicated buyer for a key role in our organization to ensure material deliveries on time with quality. You will work with indirect and direct material procurement for our organization. You will team up with the Strategic Buyer and work in close collaboration with Sales Representatives, Order Administrators, Project Managers and Service Coordinators.

Role and responsibilities

• Create purchases based on purchase orders/requests for direct and indirect materials.
• Send order confirmation to customer and internal stakeholders.
• Get order acknowledgement from factories and suppliers.
• Communicate planned delivery date to customer and monitor any delays.
• Collect supplier invoices and follow up that we have received all costs before invoicing.
• Work independently and have extensive contact with internal stakeholders, our factories and suppliers.

Your background

• Relevant education in Purchasing.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in Operational Purchasing role.
• Good computer and communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Experience from the business system SAP and Salesforce.

• You have a strong ability to plan, prioritize and structure your work.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment with many orders and many stakeholders.
• You are committed, thorough and businesslike.

Additional:

• Product knowledge and/or practical experience of ABB's products for aftermarket in electric power plants, mainly low and medium voltage switchgears.

You will be part of the project organization where our role is to create good deliveries to end customers and good preparations for our service engineers who help our customers on site every day.

ABB Electrification Service has about 60 employees in ten locations throughout Sweden. We have a wide product program and help customers to ensure the availability of their installed base. Our customers are in paper & pulp, ironworks, energy companies, electricity grid companies, water & sewage, chemical and mining industries.
