Your role and responsibilities

Are you a hands-on person with an eye for detail and an interest in painting? We are now looking for a painter who wants to work in a dynamic and educational environment, where every working day offers new challenges and opportunities for development. As a painter with us, you will play an important role in giving our engines the professional and protective coating they need. The work involves both accuracy and a sense of craftsmanship, where you are an important part of our production chain.

As a painter with us, you will work with:

• Preparation of engines for painting, such as masking and surface preparation.
• Application of primer and topcoat with spray gun, according to C3 / C4 standard.
• Ensuring that paint thickness and finish are of high quality and meet customer requirements.
• Measuring paint thickness and documenting in our systems.
• Loading and unloading motors to/from drying oven.
• Running maintenance of painting equipment and workstation.
• Active collaboration with colleagues in e.g. assembly, testing and logistics.
• Following our safety procedures and using correct protective equipment.
• The role also requires you to be flexible and able to contribute to other departments when needed.

Qualifications for the role

• You have previous experience in the painting profession or industrial painting - but if you have the desire to learn, it is at least as important.
• You enjoy working both independently and in a team
• Enjoy varied tasks, where a large part of the work takes place outside the painting box with e.g. masking and preparation.
• Has basic knowledge of surface preparation, such as cleaning, blasting or priming.
• Understands drawings and work instructions.
• Is accurate, quality conscious and has an eye for detail.
• Speaks and writes Swedish, is responsible, safety conscious and has a high work ethic.
• Has a forklift license (A1-A4) - a requirement. Travers is meritorious.
• Have knowledge of different paint types and quality control in the painting process.
