Are you the one?

At ABB, we are dedicated to addressing global challenges. Our core values of care, courage, curiosity and collaboration - combined with a strong focus on diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity - are key drivers in our goal to empower everyone to create sustainable solutions. This is our story. Make it your story.

Your role and responsibilities

Are you a driven plant engineer who likes to take both technical responsibility and be operational in projects - while making people grow and processes develop?

With us, you will be a key player in projects that range from the customer's initial needs to installation, commissioning and satisfied users. We are looking for you who want to take technical leadership in projects for the paper, pulp and metal industry in Sweden. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to improving our tools and working methods - and thus shape how we work in the future.

With us, you work in a dynamic environment where each project provides new insights and collaborations. With us, no two days are the same - but every day makes a difference. Does this sound like a role for you?

Your main responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership - Responsible for technical delivery from sales to deployment. Ensure solutions meet safety, quality, standards and cost effectiveness requirements. Conduct FAT, inspections and audits.
  • Project coordination - Plan, lead and construct in both small and large projects. Be involved from sales support to commissioning.
  • Team lead - Inspire, support and develop colleagues and contribute to the improvement of engineering processes, tools and working methods.
  • Customer contact - Participate in customer meetings, ensure good relations and project-adapted solutions. Travel and site visits are required.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Work closely with sales, project management, service, purchasing and suppliers to achieve the best possible results.

Are you ready to take the next step and contribute your skills in a committed, knowledgeable team with mixed experience and background? Then we look forward to hearing from you!

Qualifications for the role

  • Engineering degree in electrical power, energy, automation or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, ElproCAD, Eplan or Engineering Base.
  • Good knowledge of plant design and industrial control systems - preferably in process industries such as paper, pulp, mining or steel.
  • A desire to constantly develop together with colleagues and customers.
  • You share ABB's core values - safety, responsibility and integrity.
  • Structured, flexible and communicative in both Swedish and English.
  • B-driving license (as travel to customers throughout Sweden is included).
