Role and responsibilities

Do you want to help shape the future of nuclear power solutions and take a key role in a global technical competence cluster? Automation Energy Industries is now strengthening its investment in nuclear power and is looking for a Principal Automation & Electrical Architect who wants to lead the development of advanced systems in automation, electrification, instrumentation and digital applications. The role suits you who thrive in the borderland between technology, strategy and product management - and who want to contribute to a safe and sustainable energy future.

Your main tasks

  • Drive and lead the technical work within AUEN's offering to the nuclear power sector, with a focus on automation, electrification, instrumentation and digital applications.
  • Translate market needs and customer challenges into clear requirement specifications for each discipline. Be overall responsible from the concept that takes us from P&ID to implemented solution.
  • Be a central part of the global Competence Cluster Nuclear and contribute to establishing and developing the cluster to ensure that it has the right competence in Sweden.
  • Interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Report directly to Automation Energy Industries Sweden's Operations Manager and act as a technical leader in both product and project context.

Your background

  • Engineering degree and extensive experience in automation and electrification.
  • Proven track record of technical leadership in project or product management.
  • Experience working with many different stakeholders in a global organization.
  • Strategic and systematic thinking with the ability to create holistic solutions without getting bogged down in details.
  • Natural ability to conduct technical dialogues with both customers and internal experts, combined with a curious and technology-driven personality.
  • Experience in nuclear power or other large-scale process industry.
