Your role and responsibilities

ABB Robotics is building a brand new factory organization, do you want to be part of shaping the factory of the future? ABB Robotics is on the cusp of one of the most exciting transformations in our history. As part of the next chapter - with SoftBank as a new owner and with a brand new, state-of-the-art Robotics Campus emerging in Västerås - we are accelerating our journey in AI-based robotics, automation and smart solutions. Our new factory will be fully adapted to meet tomorrow's customer needs and with this change we are announcing a number of roles in our new factory organization.

Now we are looking for you who want to be part of building tomorrow's robotics - for real.

We are looking for a Production Manager who will be responsible for the area Final Assembly within the assembly. As an Assembly Production Manager, you will play a central role in running the day-to-day operations of one of our most critical production parts. You will be a key player in ensuring stable flows, high quality and an efficient way of working in our factory. Here you will have the opportunity to drive improvements, coach the team and contribute to the development of our business within ABB Robotics.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of operators in assembly. You will have one to two direct reporting shift managers and support functions.
  • Ensure daily production according to plan, including delivery accuracy, quality and work environment
  • Follow up and analyze production key figures and drive actions
  • Active work with improvement work, e.g. Lean, 5S and standardization
  • . Lean, 5S and standardization
  • Ensure competence development and staffing planning within the team
  • Collaborate with planning, quality, logistics, technology and other functions for the best possible flow
  • Drive and support the introduction of new ways of working, methods and processes

Qualifications

  • Experience in leadership in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Good understanding of production flows, quality and Lean principles
  • Strong commitment to safety, structure and continuity
  • Very good communication skills and ability to create team spirit
  • Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing
  • Good IT skills
  • More advantageous if you have experience from robotics, assembly or similar complex production
