This position reports to: Manufacturing Unit Manager.

Role and responsibilities

Do you have a strong and positive leadership and are you driven to improve and develop? Then you could be our next colleague! As a production manager for rotor coil manufacturing and rotor winding, you will have an exciting and varied job where you lead a team of over 30 skilled employees. Together you work to continuously improve the department's results and performance. You will work closely with support functions such as planning and production engineering as well as the production manager and your production manager colleagues.

In your role, you have managerial responsibility for staff and the working environment and lead the work to create a positive work culture where well-being and quality are in focus. You will ensure that the team delivers on time and with the right quality and that the set production targets are met. Financial management is an important part of the role, and you are responsible for ensuring that the department delivers according to budget and financial targets. Working closely with your team and the support functions, you will drive developments in health, safety, productivity and flexibility. You are part of the production management team and report to the Production Manager. Main duties:

  • Lead and develop the team in rotor coil manufacturing and rotor winding
  • Responsible for staff, work environment and creating a positive and safe working environment
  • Ensure that production delivers according to targets for quality, delivery and financial targets
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity and flexibility

Qualifications for the role

  • We are looking for an experienced and committed leader with a background in a manufacturing environment and several years of experience in a management position.
  • If you have an academic education in industrial economics, technology or production, it is meritorious.
  • You are a confident, present and inspiring leader who creates an inclusive work culture and communicates clearly.
  • Experience in LEAN and a drive to solve problems and develop the business is an advantage.
  • You have strategic thinking, good administrative skills and feel comfortable analyzing for future development.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required for the role.
