This position reports to:

Procurement Manager

__

As a Production Planner, you play a central role between engineering, procurement, and production. You are responsible for ensuring that customer-order-specific machines and control equipment have the right conditions for efficient manufacturing and secure material procurement. The role involves close collaboration with multiple functions, where you contribute technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and suggestions for improvement throughout the project’s implementation.

The work is varied and includes both long-term project work and rapid responses when challenges arise in production. We are therefore looking for someone with a strong understanding of design, who is a good communicator and thrives in a role where you need to create structure, take initiative, and find solutions in a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Production planning for the manufacture of customer-order-specific machines and control equipment based on documentation from the order design department.
  • Production planning for order-specific purchases of machinery and control equipment based on documentation from the order design department.
  • Placing orders and tracking material deliveries for certain specific materials for the current project. The majority of purchases are handled by operational buyers.
  • An important part of the role is to ensure that customer requirements related to manufacturing and materials—such as material certificates—are properly addressed.
  • Support other departments within the organization with needs that arise during projects.
  • Be part of the project team and work together to ensure that all order-specific needs are included and addressed for each customer project.

You will work on-site at our production facility in Finnslätten, Västerås. This is also where most of the people you’ll collaborate with are based, such as Purchasing (Strategic and Operational), Engineering, Delivery Project Managers, and others.

Your Background

  • At least two years of experience in production planning or a similar role
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of drawing solutions
  • Previous work experience in production, production engineering, purchasing, or similar fields is a plus
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, as well as TeamCenter or similar PDM systems, is a plus
  • An engineering degree or college degree in mechanical engineering, industrial economics with a focus on production, or a similar field is a plus.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • A team player with self-motivation and attention to detail, thoroughness, and the ability to plan your own work according to a set schedule and take initiative when needed.

Here’s what we offer you

We give you the freedom to take responsibility, the support to grow, and the chance to make a difference. Whether you’re solving problems, creating something new, or helping others succeed, your contribution matters. You’ll be part of a team that values your opinion and celebrates your progress.
