Role and responsibilities

We are now looking for a Production Engineer who wants to join us on the journey towards a more digitized and automated production and supply chain. We have many exciting activities and investments underway, which means great opportunities for you who want to work with improvements in large and small. As a production technician, you will work both operationally with daily production improvements and with investments and processes for more efficient and safer production. Your main tasks

  • As responsible for production methods, you will have the opportunity to define and develop our manufacturing processes towards increased quality, delivery capacity, productivity and layout optimization. You will create work instructions and conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • As the owner of the Production Flow Value Stream Mapping, you will be a driving force for continuous improvement in areas such as capacity development, process/throughput times and quality outcomes. You will be a key person in identifying and implementing improvements that increase efficiency and profitability in production.
  • You will support and be an important resource for the production line organization in their daily operational issues. You will also be responsible for managing the procurement of production related equipment and tools.
  • As part of your responsibilities, you will propose and drive change initiatives to continuously improve production to achieve desired results. You will be an active and key participant in creating an innovative and forward-thinking production environment.

Your background

  • We are looking for you who have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • You have a few years of experience in the manufacturing industry and have previously worked in a similar role.
  • You have very good knowledge of the principles of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. You understand the importance of efficiency and continuous improvement in production and are enthusiastic to apply these principles in your work.
  • With an analytical ability and a high degree of solution orientation, you are ready to tackle challenges and find innovative solutions. You are good at analyzing data and using it to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge in areas such as automation, punching, welding or machining is desirable as well as experience in project management.
  • You have experience in digitalization of manufacturing environments and understand the opportunities and challenges that come with it.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and can communicate effectively in both Swedish and English. You are comfortable working in an international environment and can collaborate with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds.
  • A team player, you have a positive attitude and are ready to contribute to a collaborative working environment. You are used to dealing with different stakeholders and have the ability to plan and organize your work in an efficient way.
