This position reports to: Engineering Manager

As a Project Engineer within LV Systems, you will work in a technical environment where innovation, problem solving and quality go hand in hand. The unit is responsible for the development and delivery of low voltage switchgear and control gear to industries such as pulp and paper, mining, power generation, power transmission, chemical, infrastructure and construction.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct project design of low voltage switchgear.
• Design electrical solutions and ensure they are of high technical quality.
• Develop documentation for both customer and production.
• Support customers, project managers and fitters in technical matters.
• Ensure cost-effective and robust design solutions.
• Share technical expertise and collaborate across teams.
• Help customers with technical issues - both remotely and on site.
• Act according to ABB's values of safety and integrity - take responsibility for your actions and contribute to a safe working environment.

Your background

We are looking for you who have:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical power/electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of design technology, tools and processes, preferably Elmaster, ELPLAN or similar systems.
• Advantageous experience of electrical power design in low voltage, relay protection and communication with overhead systems.
• A collaborative and solution-oriented personality with good communication skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new techniques and ways of working.
• Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing.
