We deliver customer-unique solutions in electrification, automation and digitalization to control and optimize our customers' processes. The project business is currently located in several locations and we work closely together in integrated teams between our locations and other ABB operations both inside and outside Sweden.

You will belong to a committed and dedicated team of project managers who, together with our engineers, design, develop and commission products, systems and applications for controlling the customer's process. The projects are of high technical complexity and are mainly run in-house at our offices, but work in the customer's plant occurs. Location is at our office in Västerås.

Your responsibilities

• As a project manager with us, you will plan and deliver different types of customer-unique solutions with a focus on projects based on ABB's products and industrial control systems and be involved from the tender phase to the end of the warranty period.
• You will work with several projects in parallel and be responsible for ensuring that you and your team deliver according to contracts, set goals and of course with a satisfied customer.
• You will have an outgoing, varied and social role that involves a lot of networking, where internal and external contacts are a natural part of your everyday life.
• On site with us, you will receive the support and challenges required to continue to grow in the role of project manager and deepen and develop your knowledge together with us in the team.

Your background

• We are looking for you who are a University or Civil Engineer with a relevant focus or equivalent work experience.
• To succeed well in the role, we see that you have at least 5 years of experience in project management with a scope in electrification-electric power and preferably from one of our sectors in the industry.
• It is preferable if you have an understanding of overall electrical systems, functionality of components such as transformers, DC systems, MV and LV switchgear.
• Knowledge of project delivery to site incl procurement and control installation, UE / assembly company and
• commissioning of components is to your advantage.
• As a person, you are curious, open and social with a natural ability to build good and long-term relationships.
• To fit the role, it is also important that you are a trustworthy team player who enjoys working with others, both internally in the projects and with our customers and suppliers.
• You have a strong personal drive and good sense of order together with a strong business focus and good understanding of construction law.
