At ABB Motion Service, we work closely with our customers to develop new innovative solutions for a more energy efficient future. To do this, we need to explore new, creative approaches and business methods. Now we are looking for our new Sales Manager who wants to join us on this exciting journey!

In the role of Sales Manager/Account Manager at ABB Motion Service in Northern Sweden, you will be responsible for leading the growth of our market-leading portfolio with a focus on Service related electric motors, frequency converters and PLCs. The geography extends from Söderhamn to Kiruna. The region is in an exciting and dynamic period with several mega-investments where electrification with the green transition is at the center and demand for our offer is growing rapidly. You will play a central role in the development and implementation of the regional sales strategy, ensuring both short and long-term growth together with your team of four sales engineers. You will also be responsible for own Accounts and drive sales on your own 50% of the time.

A coaching and collaborative approach is essential to achieve success, both by motivating and inspiring the sales team and by being a collaborative leader within the Swedish Motion Service sales management team. To support you and the team in achieving your goals, you will have our strong and well-developed sales function, including inside sales, technical sales support and project managers, and you will also work closely with the inside sales manager and our other service organization.

• Coach, motivate and develop your sales team to increase the sales pipeline and maximize sales
• Develop and implement sales plans at strategic and operational level to ensure profitable short and long-term growth.
• Manage the sales process and constantly strive to develop and challenge existing ways of working
• Develop close customer relationships with new and existing customers at multiple levels
• Ensure structured and accurate reporting and follow-up, such as sales forecasting and budgeting
• Drive own sales of own accounts 50% of the time

Your background

• You have a strong personal drive and are persistent in your work towards common goals
• You are used to leading complex sales through the entire sales cycle in a dynamic environment where your good communication and leadership skills have been put to good use
• You have experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and delivering growth over time
• You can demonstrate a clear business acumen and have many years of experience in driving sales to industrial customers where experience in sales to other channels and industries is meritorious.
• You probably have a technical post-secondary education, or have acquired equivalent experience in the industry
• Experience in working with maintenance strategies as well as electric motors, frequency converters and PLCs is meritorious.
• As we are a global company acting in the local market, you speak and write fluent Swedish and English
