Now we are looking for our new Sales Manager who wants to join us on this exciting journey!

In the role of sales manager at ABB Motion in northern Sweden, you will be responsible for leading the growth of our market-leading portfolio with a focus on electric motors, frequency converters and PLCs including service from Söderhamn to Kiruna. The region is in an exciting and dynamic period with several mega-investments where electrification with the green transition is at the center and the demand for our offer is growing rapidly. You will play a central role in the development and execution of the regional sales strategy and ensure both short and long term growth together with your team of seven sales engineers. A coaching and cooperation-oriented attitude is crucial to achieving success, both by motivating and inspiring the sales team and by being a cooperation-oriented leader within the Swedish sales management group. In support of achieving your and the team's goals, you will have our strong and well-developed sales function, with e.g. internal sales, tender engineers and product managers and you will also work closely with the project manager and our service organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Coach, motivate and develop your sales team to increase sales pipeline and maximize sales
  • Develop and implement sales plans at a strategic and operational level to ensure profitable short- and long-term growth.
  • Manage the sales process and constantly strive to develop and challenge existing ways of working
  • Develop close customer relationships with new and existing customers on multiple levels
  • Build a close partnership with our global sales organization to catalyze the development of our regional business
  • Ensure structured and correct reporting and follow-up, for example sales forecasts and budgeting

Your background

  • You have a strong personal drive and are persistent in your work towards common goals
  • You are used to leading complex sales through the entire sales cycle in a dynamic environment where your good communication and leadership skills come in handy
  • You have experience in developing sales strategies and implementing them as well as delivering growth over time
  • You can demonstrate a clear business acumen and have many years of experience in driving sales to industrial customers where experience in sales to other channels and industries is an advantage.
  • You probably have a technical post-secondary education, or have gained equivalent experience in the industry
  • Experience of working with maintenance strategies such as electric motors, frequency converters and PLCs is advantageous.
  • Because we are a global company that operates on the local market, you speak and write fluent Swedish and English
