This position reports to: Sales Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager within Process Industries, a division of ABB's Process Automation business area, you will work with a focus on electrification. You are responsible for applications and technical solutions in the field of electrification to provide the customer with the best solution for the future. You will work proactively in application and technology areas where you help and drive our customers' development in electrification forward through close collaboration. Based on identified needs and possible solutions, you then develop possible realizations that are presented in tenders and realization proposals. Together with colleagues who have customer responsibility and colleagues from different technology areas such as automation, digitization, process optimization, you form a customer team that works together in the long term within the business area.

  • You will build relationships both externally with customers and internally within ABB, and participate in business negotiations to ensure clear customer value and thus win orders for ABB.
  • You will work continuously with end customers, suppliers, partners and the ABB team, to transform ABB's expertise into increased customer value and success.
  • The position is preferably based in one of ABB's offices in Västerås, Mölndal, Sundsvall or Karlstad.

Your background

  • Several years of documented experience of working in the field of electrification from incoming high voltage via distribution at medium voltage level down to consumers in the industrial plant.
  • Experience of working closely with customers specifically in the process industry (meritorious).
  • Experience of switchgear, control systems, relay protection and energy management.
  • Good knowledge of the various solutions that occur in an industrial energy system such as high, medium and low voltage switchgear, emergency power systems, filters, transformers and drives.
  • Driven, social and solution-oriented who works independently and structured.
  • Ability to build good working relationships and collaborate in a clear communicative way.
  • Committed, curious and able to deliver results so that the business achieves its goals and visions.
  • Positive attitude and ability to see opportunities instead of obstacles.
  • Good knowledge of English and fluent Swedish.
  • B driving license (required as the work involves travel to customers throughout Sweden).

You will be part of Process Industries, a division within ABB's Process Automation business area that delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services to customers in the mining, pulp and paper, metal, battery, aluminum and cement industries. Your role will focus on the Swedish customers in Pulp and Paper and in the metal industry.
