For the Electrification Distribution Solutions division, we are now looking for a Sales Specialist based in Central or Northern Sweden. You will be an important part of our sales team and report to the Sales Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for selling MSP switchgear, associated products and complete solutions to customers in the electric power, industry, infrastructure and transportation sectors. Our solutions play a key role in the energy transition and in the management of more complex electricity networks.

Your main responsibilities

  • Independently drive and develop sales to customers in the electric power and industrial sectors
  • Own and develop customer relationships with overall responsibility for marketing, sales and budget
  • Work in a structured and long-term manner with customer processing to maximize order intake and profitability
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the sales team as well as with internal functions and factories in Europe
  • Be an ambassador for ABB:s values around safety, quality and business ethics

The role involves travel within the region and therefore requires that you thrive on mobile work.

Qualifications for the role

We are looking for someone who combines business drive with technical understanding and relationship building skills. To succeed in the role, we look for you to have:

  • Experience in technical sales, project management or consulting role - preferably in energy or industry
  • Good understanding of the electric power industry and/or experience with complex technical solutions
  • Strong ability to build long-term customer relationships and create trust at all levels
  • A structured, goal-oriented and self-driven approach with clear business drive
  • Technical studies at high school or college level, preferably with a focus on electrical power
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • B driving license and experience of CRM / sales support systems and MS Office
