Your role and responsibilities

Are you an enterprising person with a technical interest who wants to take the next step in your career? With us, you will have the opportunity for independent and responsible work with a focus on sales of products such as motors and drive systems to end users in areas such as cogeneration, infrastructure, water & sewage and HVAC.

In the role of sales representative in the Motion business area, you are responsible for the entire sales process in your region - from prospecting and customer dialog to closing and follow-up. You will work with both new and existing customers such as end users, partners, wholesalers and system integrators. You will have overall responsibility for some of our most important customer relationships, with the opportunity to influence both working methods and results. The position includes budget responsibility and you will work actively to create long-term value for the customer - both in new investments and throughout the life cycle of the products. To support you in your role, there is our established sales organization, access to training and the broad network that a global company like ABB offers.

Your main tasks:

  • Create and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Take full responsibility for your sales budget and work in a structured way throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contribute to a strong collaboration within the sales team and with other functions.
  • Proactively work in our CRM system with a focus on structure and transparency.
  • Promote ABB's values in health, safety and business ethics.
  • Be involved in the company's continuous development work.
  • You report to the Regional Sales Manager for Motion.

Qualifications for the role

  • We are looking for you who have good knowledge of the industry and may currently work as a salesperson, consultant or project manager in motors, drive systems or similar technology areas. If you also have knowledge of maintenance, automation, electricity or mechanics, we see it as a valuable asset.
  • We would like you to have experience in sales and marketing, and that you thrive in a business role where you get to build trusting and long-term customer relationships. You have a strategic approach and are driven by creating value for both customer and company.
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and are fluent in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • B driving license is a requirement for the position.
