Your role and responsibilities

Do you want to work closely with engineering, take responsibility in complex electric power projects and be a key person in ensuring that our solutions are of the highest quality? As a Senior Test Engineer with us, you will play a central role in delivery projects for low and medium voltage plants. You will combine technical breadth, problem solving and practical work in the field - in an organization that values your experience and gives you the opportunity to influence both projects and technical solutions.

This is a role for you who thrive in the borderland between design, testing, commissioning and customer contact, and who want to be part of a team where knowledge, safety and quality are in focus.

In the role of Senior Test Engineer Electrical Power you will:

  • Conduct testing and commissioning of projects involving low and medium voltage switchgear (0.4-130 kV), 110 VDC battery systems, control equipment, cross-connection and RTU/SCADA solutions.
  • Ensure that facilities operate according to requirements, standards and customer expectations through thorough testing, troubleshooting and verification.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute with technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project and tender teams with technical assessments, risk analysis and solution proposals.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers and internal teams - both in Swedish and English.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying technical deviations, suggesting improvements and sharing your experience with colleagues.

This is a role where you will have great personal responsibility, varied working days and the opportunity to work both independently and in close collaboration with other specialists.

Qualifications for the role

  • Deficient experience in electrical power testing and commissioning, including low and medium voltage, relay protection, communication with overhead systems, 110 VDC battery systems and control equipment.
  • Advantageous if you have experience of ABB's relay protection, configuration in PCM600 and used to reading and interpreting circuit diagrams.
  • Advantageous knowledge of AutoCAD and/or elMaster (Master Concept).
  • You work in a structured way, take responsibility and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
  • You always strive to create the best technical solutions for all parties.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
