This position reports to: Service Manager.

In this senior and strategic role, you will act as the ABB Service technical lead representative towards our customers. The role combines deep technical expertise with a strong consultative and coordinating focus, where trust, credibility and long-term value creation are central. You work with a holistic perspective across the service organization and guide both customers and internal teams towards the right technical decisions.

Your role and responsibilities

• Represent ABB Service to customers from a technical leadership and advisory perspective
• Act as a senior technical authority and trusted advisor and also as an operational problem solver
• Lead and contribute in feasibility studies, technical evaluations and early customer dialogues
• Coordinate and guide engineers and specialists and ensure that identified needs are effectively implemented
• Challenge existing solutions and propose improved system designs with a critical and analytical approach
• Create synergies between service, sales, contract management and project organization
• Contribute to long-term customer relationships built on competence, integrity and trust

Your background

You have a solid technical foundation combined with seniority, confidence and the ability to navigate complex customer and organizational environments. You are comfortable in a leadership role, able to influence decisions and ensure the right work is done by the right people.

• University degree
• Several years of experience in automation, control systems or industrial systems development
• Deep knowledge of ABB:s control and automation system 800xA
• Background as a senior automation engineer or technical consultant
• Strong system design skills as well as practical, hands-on understanding from customer-facing roles
• Documented ability to work strategically with customers and identify long-term business opportunities
• Experience from regulated or high reliability industries, such as nuclear power or pharmaceuticals, is meritorious
• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English
