Your Role and Responsibilities

In this senior and strategic role, you will serve as ABB Service’s leading technical representative to our customers. The role combines deep technical expertise with a strong focus on advising and coordinating, where trust, credibility, and long-term value creation are central. You’ll take a holistic view of the service organization and guide both customers and internal teams toward the right technical decisions.

• Represent ABB Service to customers from a technical leadership and advisory perspective
• Act as a senior technical authority and trusted advisor, as well as an operational problem-solver
• Lead and contribute to feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and early-stage customer dialogs
• Coordinate and guide engineers and specialists, and ensure that identified needs are implemented effectively
• Challenge existing solutions and propose improved system designs using a critical and analytical approach
• Create synergies between service, sales, contract management, and the project organization
• Contribute to long-term client relationships built on expertise, integrity, and trust

Your Background

You have a solid technical foundation combined with seniority, confidence, and the ability to navigate complex customer and organizational environments. You are comfortable in a leadership role, can influence decisions, and ensure that the right work is performed by the right people.

• College degree
• Several years of experience in automation, control systems, or industrial systems development
• In-depth knowledge of ABB’s 800xA control and automation systems
• Background as a senior automation engineer or technical consultant
• Strong expertise in system design and practical, hands-on understanding from customer-facing roles
• Proven ability to work strategically with customers and identify long-term business opportunities
• Experience in regulated or high-reliability industries, such as nuclear power or pharmaceuticals, is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
