Role and responsibilities

ABB is one of the leading suppliers of electrical power products, systems and services around the world. The market is growing and we need more people. At ABB Service, we strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations around Sweden - from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. Right now, we are looking for service technicians in electrical power to Västerås. Our mission is to provide services that increase operational reliability, availability and profitability and reduce the environmental impact of the customer's production facilities. We cover the entire life cycle of the plant and help our customers work with continuous improvements.

A service coordinator has a central role in planning, coordinating and following up service efforts to ensure that customer needs are met. It is a role where you are in constant interaction with all the different stakeholders such as customers, sales, project management and service technicians who you serve with the information needed to safely and qualitatively deliver to the customer's wishes.

  • Planning and coordination: Organize and plan service assignments for our ABB service technicians or service providers. Ensure that spare parts, tools and equipment are in place for service calls. Plan and schedule technicians based on skills, customer requirements and plant operating conditions. Receive and record service requests from industrial customers. Interact with production, warehouse, sales teams and service managers to ensure efficient deliveries.
  • Communication: Be the link between customers, service technicians and internal departments. Ensure clear and professional communication.
  • Administrative tasks: Documenting service cases, handling orders, invoicing and follow-up.
  • Follow-up and reporting: Follow up on ongoing and closed cases, analyze statistics and report results.
  • Improvement work: Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer contact: Handle customer complaints, feedback and ensure SLA and timeframes are met.


Your background

  • Experience in administrative or coordinating role in industry, technology, production or service.
  • Good computer skills and experience with business systems and meritorious is experience with SAP, Salesforce and FSL.
  • Strong communication skills in speech and writing (Swedish and English).
  • Ability to work in a structured way, prioritize and handle several tasks at the same time.
  • Customer focus and solution-oriented approach.
  • Technical knowledge is meritorious.
