This position reports to: Service Manager.

ABB Electrification Service Sweden provides services and solutions in low- and medium-voltage across the country—from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north. With approximately 70 employees, we are a growing unit focused on being the best in our niche to improve availability, reliability, predictability, and sustainability in electrical power for our customers.

Through a broad portfolio of products and services—including maintenance, modernization, and consulting for low- and medium-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, relay protection, and related products—we support key industries such as pulp & paper, mining, steel production, energy companies, and utilities.

As Project & Contract Manager, Electrification Service , you will play a key role in our continued growth. You will lead and develop a team of project managers, contract managers, and electrical engineers. You will have overall responsibility for project and contract delivery by creating the conditions for safe, profitable, and efficient project and service delivery, while simultaneously developing both the business and the people within it.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the organization for project & contract management and design.
  • Ensure a high-quality and efficient implementation process for service projects and service contracts.
  • Be responsible for the quality and profitability of the business’s project and contract portfolio through structured monitoring of results, risks, resources, and delivery capacity.
  • Address escalations of project- and contract-related issues and drive solutions in collaboration with your own and other organizational functions.
  • Ensure that projects and service contracts are initiated, managed, and closed out correctly in accordance with the contract and ABB’s internal processes.
  • Create favorable conditions for our field service engineers to deliver project and contract services on-site through high-quality planning and project preparation.
  • Drive standardization, digitalization, and continuous improvement of processes, tools, and work methods.
  • Monitor and develop KPIs related to safety, quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Contribute to sales and bidding efforts through cost estimation, capacity planning, risk assessments, and operational expertise.
  • Develop the organization’s expertise through coaching, mentoring, and active leadership.

Your Background

  • At least five years of experience in project management with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • At least five years of experience in personnel management and organizational development.
  • Documented experience with projects or service operations in the fields of electric power, energy, industry, or infrastructure.
  • Experience with low- and medium-voltage solutions, electrical installations, or power facilities.
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical infrastructure and facility design.
  • Experience with customer interactions, business negotiations, and collaboration with suppliers.
  • Strong ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • Travel within Sweden is part of the role, approximately 25%.
