Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Sales Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the Sales organization and customers by identifying technically suitable and cost-effective solutions. You will provide expert advice on ABB’s products, systems, and applications, participate in meetings and product presentations, and assist in delivering technical training. Your work will involve analyzing customer needs, proposing optimal solutions, and supporting the sales process from enquiry to final proposal.

You will mainly be accountable for:

• Collaborate with the Technical Sales Support Manager to assist the Sales organization and customers in identifying the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
• Offer technical advice and provide input on enquiry specifications for customers, channels, and Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products, systems, and applications.
• Provide technical support during meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
• Conduct analytical and diagnostic studies to determine suitable technical solutions that meet customer needs.
• Propose optimal technical solutions for complex enquiries.
• Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations on complex product issues to internal staff and customers.
• Deliver product, solution, and service-related training.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical sales support or a similar role within the electrification industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
