Role and responsibilities

ABB is one of the leading suppliers of electrical power products, systems and services around the world. The market is growing and we need more people. At ABB Service, we strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations around Sweden - from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. Right now we are looking for you who want to immerse yourself in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and be part of our growth journey. We have a long-term plan for this position where you will have good opportunities to familiarize yourself with the technology and our offer together with our Power Protection team. This role is a key position to strengthen and develop the service organization within the Power Protection business area at ABB. You will report to the Country Manager for Power Protection in Sweden.

As Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to implement our service strategy and drive growth in the service business for the Power Protection team in Sweden. You will lead the day-to-day operations, be accountable for performance and work to achieve set targets and optimize the use of our service resources. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring profitable growth and improved productivity in service.

You will be part of a dynamic, competent and high-performing team where you will have the opportunity to develop and contribute with your technical skills and leadership to the success of the business.

• Lead the service team and guide, motivate and develop their technical skills.
• Responsible for technical planning in collaboration with our Job Dispatcher.
• Work on improvement and optimization of service processes to maximize profitability and availability.
• Build a profitable, efficient, competent and high-performing service organization and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.

Your background

• You have a technical education in electricity, electronics or electrical power.
• You enjoy working with team management and development, and have a good understanding of market requirements in Power Protection.
• You have experience of technical leadership and running service operations.
• You have experience and solid technical knowledge from the UPS/Power Protection market and can show documented results.
• Requirement that you can communicate in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
• You have good knowledge of MS Office and other business-related tools.
• You are communicative and good at reporting and summarizing status in writing and speech.
• You have a B driving license.
