As an IS Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our global vendor ecosystem delivers maximum value—financially, operationally, and strategically. This is your opportunity to work across borders, collaborate with diverse teams, and influence how ABB Robotics partners with the world’s leading technology providers.


Your responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day interactions with assigned vendors, ensuring service levels and KPIs are met
  • Supporting financial tracking, invoice verification, and purchase order management
  • Collecting and analyzing vendor performance data to prepare dashboards and reports
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across IS, Finance, Procurement, and Robotics
  • Contributing to vendor portfolio optimization and cost-efficiency initiatives

You will also support vendor governance activities such as audits and reviews, assist in contract amendments and negotiations, and act as the first escalation point for operational performance issues. Your insights will help identify risks, drive corrective actions, and improve our vendor governance model. You’ll stay ahead of market trends and apply best practices to strengthen ABB’s vendor relationships globally.

The position is global.


Your background:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or sourcing
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field
  • Strong understanding of contractual, financial, and commercial aspects of vendor management
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and geographies
